Late breaking news… tonight, at Yonge & Dundas Square in Toronto, following the premiere screening of Neil Young‘s new movie, around 10 p.m., yours truly will strap on his black Les Paul and fill in for Neil Young, jamming with the live band that will be doing an outdoor concert for the TIFF [Toronto International Film Festival].
I believe it’s a free show. Neil has had to cancel, very last minute, but the organizers felt the rock show must go on, so the “Carpet Frogs” house band will play a set, and I’ll join them towards the end for some take-no-prisoners versions of Hey Hey My My and Rockin’ In The Free World, if all goes according to plan. Curfew at 11 p.m.
Should be fun!
