Perhaps the first time you heard Rik Emmett play/sing was on a Triumph album. Or maybe you first encountered his virtuosity on one of his many solo records. For me, the first time I had ever heard the name Rik Emmett I was a young teenager and I had just walked into my very first guitar lesson.
